US visa application

I am back to KL for almost a week d^^

holiday mood ON!

life is so far so good~

had a terrible ending in 2012 and I really hope that 2013 is gonna be a great year!

I must stay positive and happy all the time

love myself more!

n enjoy this holiday to the max!

anyway, was busy for the past few days due to the US visa application form on the internet

before this, I have no idea that applying the visa can be so damn troublesome! o.O
something to share here

a brief summary here of how to apply a US visa^^

hope this is useful for those who need help cause I was busy calling friends and surfing the net to get information of how to apply US visa since the past few days~

firstly, fill up the details in DS160 form... 

u can get this form from the US embassy website

u need to fill up a lot of details such as where u plan to visit and the hotel u ll stay when u r in US

oh ya, there is also a need to take a picture and upload it on the net in this form

the picture is with white background n bring 1 photo along with u on the day of interview

after submitting the application form online, u will get a confirmation number, it is a must to print out this confirmation page and bring it with u on the day of interview

following, schedule for appointment of interview

u will need to pay RM512 per person at Standard Chartered bank in order to proceed with this step^^

(u are able to schedule appointment 4 hours later of payment)

I have chosen the 7.40am session, which is the next day after I had submit the application form

then, the next day, departed at 630am due to the KL heavy traffic~

reach the embassy and there is a long queue to get the visitor pass

it is a must to bring either ur IC or Driving license in order to get the visitor pass (clumsy me left my IC at home  but luckily the  driving license is with me=D)

no handphones, headphones or camera are allowed in the embassy

documents to bring:

1. confirmation letter

2. appointment letter

3. 1 photo

4. passport

5. receipt of the payment

took a number once we entered the building and waited for the interview session

since I am applying the visa with my family, thus we need one number only for the whole family^^

Hence, it is much more easier comparing to those applying the visa by himself!

everything is settled by 10am~

the interview session was kind of simple, the interviewer is a very friendly lady

~perhaps it is bcoz we are applying together as a family or perhaps it is due to my dad's job~ 

the interviewer asked me 1 question only and same goes to my brother

while for my dad, about 5 questions and mum 2 questions~

4 of us in the tiny room for not more than 5 minutes n there we go, visa is approved!

we can collect our passport from the Wisma MCA the next day after 3pm~
the visa is valid for 10 years~

so there goes the summary of how to apply a US visa=)

everything is settled and I can't wait for the trip!

lawasia 2012

came back to uni 2 weeks earlier than others due to the lawasia moot competition

it's regarding a franchise business between a China Restaurant,the franchisor and an Indonesian franchisee

an interesting moot problem

our main focus is Singapore and Indonesia law, which is something very new for us!

the 2 weeks of preparations in uni is a nightmare! XD this is due to the dirty rooms, toilets, cockroaches and hungry cats everywhere!

we had lots of fun during the preparation and also a lot of teary moments due to stress and arguments!

this is indeed a very special memory for me to cherish in my uni life~

even though we suffered a lot but we learnt a lot at the same time! precious friendship built among all the mooters and our dearest managers

some discussion going on during the journey from uni to KL~

we had a super huge bus for 11 of us only and our lecturer!

checked in a very budget inn near to Times Square, KL since the arbitration centre is near to Pavillion=D

our blazers hanging nicely at the "wardrobe"^^

had a nice lunch at TS before attending the briefing at the arbitration centre... sorry for the "senget" picture!

last minute preparation! midnight discussion before the day of the competition! our Joshua senior helped us a lot on that nite~

 still scribing our speech early in the morning at the arbitration centre!

slept for 2 hours only as we have to wake at 530am to avoid bad traffic in the town~

2 rounds to go.. 1st one at 1030am while the 2nd one at 430pm

we were too tired! caught a nap on the comfortable couch outside of the arbitration room^^

in the end, we lose in this competition... but we are not sad! we learnt a lot and tried our best! no regrets! a wonderful experience! this competition makes me understand more about the life in the legal field n I get the chance to meet some very professional people, which are our judges=D

promised myself I need to have the courage to speak in front of the judges and I did it! even though I didn't do it well but this is my first step in achieving my target!^^

went to CC in the morning to wait for dear for his subjects registration...
at the mean time, played it with Jacq's guidance....
easy mode + help from Jacq + dear = I survived XD

I went there for about 5-10 minutes...

just started to warm up with my gang of ex PS friends and I received sms from Jenny of going to Sri Petaling's night market ><

so, I left the party XD

the birthday gal ad left the party, so just chatted with those gurls for a while....

line is very good since only a few of us using internet~

10 days at leisure mall n I met 2 actors n 2 singers...
not those famous one... not many ppl recognize them

on weekends.. there are some functions going on~
performances n children singing competition~
met a very cute boy~ ^^

love those kids a lot =)
they made our job not that boring...

n well~ working at there...
I have to tied up my hair...
so, tried to tie 10 different hairstyle for 10days... XD

09 PC Fair

3 days of working at the PC Fair is indeed exhausting...
I have no energy to online... nt to mention blogging either~
standing for hours besides of rest time~
can't feel my legs anymore XD

1st day~

for the 1st day story~
damn stupid....
can't work at the PC Fair due to some management problem~

went to Low Yat~ my 2nd time of visiting that place~

working at there is actually not bad either besides of the poor sales
ppl at JayaCom is quite nice~
had fun with them~
n also~ thanks to Ling, Jacq, Vicky, Keong n Step for visiting~ hahaz~
they went for movie while i need to work T.T
see~ we r so damn free~
till we have time to take pictures~ XD

so, that's how my 1st day gone~
went to Low Yat by our supervisor's car~
went home by LRT~

2nd day~
it's me again~

worked in Hall 4... Techmart...
selling Kaspersky anti-virus~
sales at there is not as good as the Hall 1 n Hall 2 sales~
but still... damn tired... .
kept on repeating the same words....
the booth beside me is Sony, n sometimes there's a showgal there~
another booth near to me is gaming stuffs...
saw ppl playing Left 4 Dead~
ate alone during my lunch time...
so, I joined a stranger at the food court.. n we chatted for a while~
n sumthing embarrassing happened... =.=

went home at 9pm~
while passing by those Maxis,Streamyz, Wimax booth...
I got a balloon~ XD (like a kiddo)
well~ I can't remember who gave it to me~

the place we where we worked~
after a simple briefing, went home by LRT~
quite crowded...
n especially with tat balloon along~ lolz~
I really can't "tahan" myself...

3rd day~
last day of working~
almost become a robot...
kept on repeating the same talking...
my sales is better today~
but then, have to leave my email address to some customers... >.<
oh ya~
during this PC Fair, met lots of friends that I haven't seen for ages....
sum can't regconise me... =.=""
n also, I saw Monday twice...
Jenny told me she saw Amber Chia...

Glen said it is very nice~
bcoz of those smoke...or whatever it is~ it was actually raining at that time~
went for supper+dinner with YC, Ray,Dan n Jenny~

3 days passes very soon orhz~
overall~
it's quite a nice experience~
